Cure Acne In The Comfort Of Your Home

- Image via Wikipedia
Just like Mondays, acne will make you want to stay at home and lie down on your bed all day. But unlike the first day of the working week, acne will stay for a long time. It may even permanently scar if not treated with an effective acne skin care product.
Acne is a certified killer of self-esteem. Waking up one day and seeing a big reddish pimple in the mirror, would you still want to go out and meet your friends? Many people will still choose to continue doing their daily activities, while pretending that there is no enormous crater inhabiting their nose. But frequent ridicule and jokes at your expense will serve as constant reminders that the pimple is very real, and your acne skin care regimen is not working.
Obviously, acne will not go away by simply staying at home. Luckily, there are several acne skin care remedies that can be used in the comfort of your home. Instead of spending futile hours of hiding inside your room, try these acne skin care home treatments. These cures use materials that are easily found around your house.
Clean Your Face With Water:
The basic step of an acne skin care program is washing your face with lukewarm water. Avoid using hot water because it causes skin irritation like rashes and red spots. If there is any anti-bacterial soap around, use it twice a day to wash your face. If possible, add some tea tree oil as a useful acne skin care treatment.
Use Proper Hygiene:
Proper all round personal hygiene is also a crucial cure for any acne skin care regimen. You should always keep your hair clean so when it touches your facial skin, bacteria and germs will not be transferred. It’s also suggested to cut your hair short to avoid contact with your face, which may result in skin irritation. Wash your hair with mild and non-irritating shampoo. In addition, frequently washing your hands is important in achieving an effective acne skin care program.
Watch What You Eat:
A healthy diet will lead to an even healthier acne skin care regimen. Avoid eating fatty and oily foods. Instead, consume more fruit and vegetables, which provide essential vitamins and nutrients that promote soft and healthy skin.
Pay attention to these simple and convenient acne skin care home remedies and you’ll find yourself wanting to interact with people a lot more. Who knows, you might end up wanting to work on a Sunday.

True Skin Care – Part 1
Though many good products are created for giving people a healthy and glowing skin, true skin care can happen only if a person changes their lifestyle appropriately. There are a few skin care steps that must be taken for maintaining healthy skin. But you also cannot dispense with a few essential products that form part of your true skin care regime.
For example, you cannot stop using a moisturizer even if you hydrate your skin by drinking lots of water. Of course, water hydrates the skin internally but for moisturizing the skin externally, you must use an appropriate moisturizer. But you should remember that you should use the moisturizer only after you clean the skin thoroughly with a gentle cleanser. This must be scrupulously followed twice a day; once in the mornings and again before retiring for bed at night. Even a person who has an oily skin should use an appropriate skin moisturizer. True skin care lies in blending your common-sense steps and the use of appropriate skin care products.
Exercise is an important part of true skin care. When you do your daily exercises the toxins from your body are removed so effectively that the products you use will give you better results. Exercise also increases the blood circulation and hence your skin is nourished well and ready to take in the good effects of the products.
True skin care also lies in eating a healthy diet comprising of higher fibre food like fresh fruits and vegetables and foods that contain essential fatty acids and antioxidants. These foods protect your skin from harmful elements and when the skin is protected like this, it can absorb the vital ingredients of the excellent skin care products you use.
In a nutshell, true skin care lies in taking advantage of the synergies between these steps and your skin care products to ensure a healthy and youthful skin.
